HOW TO MEASURE

STEP 1

Image

Grab a Tailor’s measuring tape (soft tape)

or a piece of string and a ruler. The tape will give you the most accurate measurement.
DO NOT use your pants measurement. This is highly inaccurate as you use a lifting belt for an entirely different purpose than wearing pants daily.

STEP 2

Image

Measure around your waist over the top of your belly button

or about 3-4 inches above your hip bones where the belt will sit to provide intra-abdominal pressure..
It is ok to measure OVER a form fitting shirt or over skin if that’s how you will normally wear the belt.

STEP 3

Image

To mimic a belt fit, you can pull the tape tighter.

Do not let it sit loose in place.
Compare this measurement to the size chart to get your belt size below.

Some important tips for getting a good fit.

  • If you’re on the cusp of two sizes, go down in size unless you plan on bulking.
  • Your belt tips will overlap. This is how our belts fit for a more secure fit. No worries about belt tips pinching your stomach.
  • Use the No Slip Grip Buckle whenever you’re able to to prolong the life of the velcro.
  • Use the Clean Your Sh*t Kits to keep the velcro clean.

FIT GUIDE

Image

This is a good fit.

  • Belt strap is at least 4 inches attached (velcro to velcro)
  • Belt tips are overlapping
  • Placement over the mid-section to assist in creating intra-abdominal pressure during lifts.

This belt is Too Big.

  • Tip is hitting the No Slip Grip Buckle™ which means it cannot be tightened further.
  • When belts are too big, it's not working like it should for you.
  • It is normal for a belt to become too big when going through a cut in inches.

Image

This belt is Too Small.

  • Less than 3-4 inches of strap sticking to the velcro. This puts too much stress on the velcro and may cause it to "pop" off during a lift.
  • To avoid this, use the No Slip Buckle™ at all times.
  • We'll exchange non-custom belts that are too small.
